Mineralogue is a local-first mineral collection application created by The Liminal Stone in Victoria, Australia.
Your specimen records, photographs, documents, dealers, wishlist items and collection settings are stored on your device in the app’s local database. Mineralogue does not require an account to catalogue or manage a collection.
Your collection does not automatically appear on another device. Create and retain backups if you need to recover your collection after a device is lost, reset or replaced.
Share Catalogue creates a PDF report on your device. The report is sent, saved or printed through your device’s own share options. Mineralogue does not upload report content or report photographs to create that PDF.
Before generating a report, you can choose whether to include purchase price, dealer details and provenance. These settings apply only to the report you create.
Some optional tools may send content to Base44 for processing, including spreadsheet import and label or invoice scanning. Mineralogue only sends content when you start one of those tools.
The app is hosted using Base44. Base44 may process ordinary technical information needed to serve the app, such as IP address and device or browser information, under its own privacy practices.
Mineralogue no longer creates public collection links. All previously active links were disabled on 25 September 2026.
Images and snapshots uploaded through the former link feature may remain in Base44-managed storage because Base44 does not provide a deletion API. Those files are no longer available through Mineralogue’s public link pages.
